Engineer - Quality System-Aerofil
Roles and Responsibilities
Maintain and recommend improvements to the Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure compliance with applicable standards (e.g. ISO 22716) and regulations through data analysis, auditing, and continuous improvement activities.
Primary Duties:
- Write/modify SOP’s
- Maintain control of documents/records
- Confirm effectiveness of employee training on quality processes and standards
- Lead internal and external audits
- Collaborate with cross-functional team to resolve issues and implement process improvements through RCA, FMEA, CAPA, etc.
- Track and analyze quality metrics to drive internal process reliability and external supplier performance
Workplace Requirements:
- Actively practice safety in all aspects of the job
- Know and practice proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
- Know and recognize quality products and practices, and take action when defects are identified
- Maintain a positive work atmosphere by behaving and communicating in a manner that promotes respect and teamwork between coworkers, customers, vendors, supervisors, and management
- Able to lift 25 - 50lbs consistently
Education
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, quality management, or related scientific discipline. American Society for Quality (ASQ) Quality Engineer certification preferred.
Experience
Minimum Of Five (5) Years Quality Experience Required. Previous leadership experience and the demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and teams simultaneously. Strong Technical Writing Skills Required.
