Job Description
A Quality Engineer provides statistical information for quality improvement by identifying testing methods and samples. Position Description/General responsibilities include:
- Assist with maintenance of the Quality System.
- Assist Quality Manager and Supervisor in establishing, implementing, and maintaining the quality management system.
- Interface with Engineering and Ops to ensure transfer to Production of new products is in accordance with approved data.
- Support the Quality Inspectors to ensure that products and processes comply with the relevant requirements of the quality management system.
- Analyze failure, corrective and preventive action to respond to internal/external customer complaints.
- Create and maintain company quality documentation, such as quality manuals, quality procedures, etc.
- Continuously improving QA receiving inspection process and procedures.
- Ensure timely resolution of supplier failure, corrective actions and preventive actions.
- Prepare QA weekly, monthly, quarterly reports.
- Responsible for continual improvement activities to enhance the quality system, such as 5S, Kaizen lean methods, etc.
- Develop training to build quality awareness.
- Conduct audits, including closing out audit findings and creating audits finding reports, and determining proper corrective and preventive actions.
- Responsible for planning, organizing and managing the overall activities of receiving/outgoing quality functions.
- Manage suppliers performance and conduct audits.
Qualifications
- Education and/or Experience: ISO Auditor Mid-Level Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint Computer knowledge, functionality, technical interaction of sub-assemblies English as either primary or secondary language Bachelor’s Degree preferred

Working Conditions
- Able to tolerate noise levels in warehouse environment.
- Office and outside environmental conditions found in warehouse, hot in summer, cold in winter.
- May need to walk for extensive period of time while working and walking facilities; able to reach over shoulder heights; bend or stoop below waist; repetitive wrist, hand, finger movement; occasional lifting up to 30 pounds.
