Responsibilities
- Oversee all quality inspections, including activity of off shifts
- Submit non-conformance reports if needed and follow up to ensure problems are corrected
- Ensure accurate and standardized collection of data
- Drive continuous improvement through data analysis and troubleshooting
- Work independently and also in collaboration with others
- Communicate with all stakeholders to ensure testing for changes in materials or dimensions occurs
- Write and maintain work instructions
- Maintain cleanliness at work-site in accordance with 5S3R Standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent, relevant experience (MS preferred)
- Chemical/Mechanical/Electrical/industrial Engineering / Computer science / or equivalent Knowledge
- Leverage Lean Six Sigma (Greenbelt or black belt holder preferred)
- Experience: 0 to 3+ years of experience in a quality engineer or related role
- Experience with complete core documents, including control plans and process failure mode effects analysis (PFMEA) helpful
- Experience with statistical process control (SPC) preferred
- Experience with 4M change process preferred
