About the role
The Professional Civil Engineer will manage and oversee the design and construction of public and private infrastructure projects, including roadways, drainage systems, water and wastewater pipelines, civil site work and associated civil improvements in land development as well as public parks and trails facilities. They will also manage design and plan production, supervise technical staff, and have a large amount of autonomy in managing other professional engineers, engineers-in-training, and CAD designers.

- Have a large amount of autonomy in managing other professional engineers, engineers-in-training, and CAD designers
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in Civil Engineering or ABET accredited equivalent Engineering degree
- PE License in Atlanta or ability to obtain within 6 months
- At least 4 to 7 years of experience in public works, municipal roadway, drainage, detention, water/wastewater utility design, and/or utilities design
- Strong design experience and project manager skills
- AutoCAD Civil 3D CAD experience preferred
- Good technical writing and communication skills
- Proficient in project management, administration and supervision
- Ability to work in a team environment with multiple offices and various disciplines
- A positive attitude, self-directed yet a team player, focus on quality, integrity and success
- Willingness to develop a network of municipal clients and teaming partners
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
