Responsibilities

  • Evaluates load assumptions according to international standards like IEC 61400-1, IECRE.
  • Performs Aero-elastic calculations, structural dynamics, and basics of vibration and dynamic controls.
  • Verifies load assumptions using software like Flex5, Bladed, or Samcef.
  • Closes cooperation with the global team.
  • Integrates continuous improvement concepts and techniques into all aspects of the job.
  • Reviews technical documentation from clients.
  • Identifies opportunities and techniques to improve and automate internal tools and calculation processes.

Qualifications

  • Masters/Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent field.
  • Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in wind energy.
  • Exposure with the Software Flex5 or Bladed and experience with the use of common Guidelines (DNVGL, IEC) for wind turbines is an added advantage.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Customer focus, commitment, and independent work.
  • Strong technical aptitude and ability to work in a fast-paced consultancy environment.
  • Experience in the continuous development of work processes (Lean Six Sigma) is desirable.
  • Good communication skills (speaking and writing in English).
