As an Intern, you will support various project sites performing project management, document control, and collaborating with safety personnel and field operations. Interns will receive the opportunity to gain hands-on work experience and guidance while establishing professional contacts in the industry. Essential Functions Support highway heavy/civil construction site, project management or estimatingAssist with document control, submittals, monthly billingAssist with field operations, safety or environment requirementsOther responsibilities as assigned Qualifications Pursuing a degree in Civil, Mechanical Engineering or Construction ManagementCurrent college junior or senior statusExperience working on civil or other construction site(s) desiredComputer literate in Word, Excel, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and OutlookStrong organizational, written, verbal and time management skillsGood attention to detail and the ability to recognize discrepanciesHave a positive attitude and excellent self-motivational skillsAbility to perform under schedule restraintsGood time management skillsMust have a valid driver’s license Working Conditions Location – This project is located in Farmington, New Mexico. Subsequent projects will be nationally based.Travel – This role will be expected to travel to project locations and regional offices.Construction site environment – physical ability to stand, walk, crawl, bend, reach and climb.
