Engineer Intern
for sections like About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, etc. Use - for any list of duties/requirements/benefits. Use
for prose. Do NOT repeat job title as heading. Do NOT put Job ID etc. Remove boilerplate like EEO, etc. Preserve all substantive info. Include sections only when posting has real specific content. No filler sections like Pay/Schedule/Benefits unless present. The posting mentions schedule: "expected to work approximately 20-30 hours per week, with the potential to work up to 40 hours when business needs require." That's schedule info. So we can include a Schedule section. Benefits? Not mentioned. Pay? Not mentioned. So we can include About the role (maybe job summary), Responsibilities, Requirements, Schedule. Possibly Work Environment? There's a Work Environment paragraph. Could include as a section "Work Environment". But we need to decide if it's substantive. It says: "Engineering, design, laboratory, and/or office environment with regular collaboration across LR and MX teams. The role may involve use of scanning, printing, and dimensional-measurement equipment and preparation of materials for shipment. Work location, onsite expectations, schedule, safety requirements, and travel expectations must be confirmed by the hiring manager and HR." That's somewhat generic but still substantive. Could include as a section.
We must not include boilerplate like EEO, equal opportunity, etc. Remove that.
We need to preserve all substantive info: job summary paragraphs, responsibilities list, requirements list, schedule info, work environment, physical demands maybe? There's a Physical Demands section: "Ability to perform computer-based design and documentation work and to handle parts, prints, Mylar materials, and 3D-printed components. Any lifting, standing, walking, personal protective equipment, or other site-specific physical requirements must be confirmed by the hiring manager and HR. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions." That's substantive. Could include as a section "Physical Demands". Also "Additional duties..." maybe not needed.
We need to format using
for section headings. Use - for any list of duties/requirements/benefits. Use
for prose.
We need to decide what constitutes a list. The responsibilities are listed as bullet-like sentences after "Job Responsibilities". They are separate sentences. Could treat each as
- . Similarly requirements are bullet-like.
We need to avoid repeating job title as heading. So start with maybe
About the role
then a with job summary.
Then
Responsibilities
then - each responsibility.
Then
Requirements
then - each requirement.
Then
Schedule
then with schedule info.
Then
Work Environment
then with work environment description.
Then
Physical Demands
then with physical demands.
We must not include sections with filler like "commensurate with experience". Not present.
Check for any duplicated lines: we should not repeat.
We must remove cookie/navigation/legal/EEO etc. So cut the final EEO paragraph.
Also remove "An Equal Opportunity Employer..." etc.
Also remove "Additional duties, responsibilities, and activities may be required." maybe part of responsibilities? Could include as a responsibility bullet.
But we already have responsibilities list; we could add that as a bullet.
Let's extract responsibilities from text:
From "Job Responsibilities" section:
- Maintain organized records and communicate open questions, missing information, and workflow risks to the appropriate engineering contact.
- Provide timely technical support and clarification to LR designers so design work can resume promptly when questions arise.
- Coordinate drawings, parts, measurements, and supporting information for the MX team to help prevent avoidable delays.
- Conduct an initial completeness review of prints to confirm required information and documentation are included before handoff.
- Prepare covers, parts, and related materials for shipment to MX or St. Louis.
- Support design alterations and revisions in coordination with the MX team.
- Perform Mylar checks and verify dimensions against applicable prints and requirements.
- Prepare 3D prints and related materials for engineering review and use.
- Create PIP documentation and cross-sections to support product evaluation and design work.
- Scan parts and prepare complete, usable scan data for engineering and design activities.
Also there is earlier paragraph before "Job Responsibilities": "The Engineering Intern provides day-to-day engineering and design support to maintain an efficient workflow between the LR and MX teams. The role prepares scan data and technical materials, supports design revisions, verifies dimensions and print completeness, and helps ensure designers and the MX team receive the drawings, parts, measurements, and information needed to continue work without unnecessary delay." That could be part of About the role or responsibilities. We'll incorporate into About the role.
Also "Job Summary Maintain organized records and communicate open questions, missing information, and workflow risks to the appropriate engineering contact. Provide timely technical support and clarification to LR designers so design work can resume promptly when questions arise. Coordinate drawings, parts, measurements, and supporting information for the MX team to help prevent avoidable delays. Create PIP documentation and cross-sections to support product evaluation and design work. Scan parts and prepare complete, usable scan data for engineering and design activities." Actually that looks like a repeat of responsibilities. The "Job Summary" seems to be same as responsibilities. We'll just treat as responsibilities.
Now requirements:
From "JOB REQUIREMENTS:" block:

- Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

We need to avoid duplication. Let's separate:
