Responsibilities
- Perform engineering design using Autodesk Civil3D.
- Coordinate CAD files and design with internal and external team members.
- Prepare construction documents under the direction of a Project Engineer or Project Manager.
- Tabulate and address client review comments from deliverables.
- Utilize in-house methods of quality control to complete projects.
- Incorporate applicable technical knowledge for added value to projects.
- Strengthen technical knowledge through on-the-job, informal, and formal training.
- Ensure appropriate reference material is utilized at all times.
- Coverage and organization of project documentation.
- Participation in monthly meetings and weekly project meetings.
- Ensuring all work is completed in conformance with company standards, policies, and procedures.
- Compliance with Health & Safety Program, focusing on safety in field activities.
Qualifications
- Minimum requirements: Strong commitment to company values, ability to participate in complex projects, effective communication, technical skills, and prior civil engineering experience.
- Education and experience: Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, or Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university, EIT registration in Arizona preferred, at least 2-3 years of civil engineering experience, and prior experience working in Civil3D.
