Engineer in Training
About the role
The office is seeking a full-time Engineer in Training to support the Land Development group. The ideal candidate should have strong communication skills and enjoy working in a team environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform basic design of land/site development
- Support production of construction plans and documents
- Complete quantity take-offs and cost estimating
- Collaborate with other disciplines both internally and externally
Requirements
- Strong work ethic and understanding of engineering principles
- Experience in CADD utilizing AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and MicroStation
- Proven teamwork and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite products including Word and Excel
- Good intrapersonal and verbal/written communication skills
- Able to effectively communicate with peers, senior staff, and clients
Skills

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related curriculum from an ABET accredited school
- Engineering Intern Certification
- 0-1 years’ experience in civil design
- Ability to effectively work with other engineers and technicians
- Experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroStation software is highly preferred
Pay
Hourly Earnings: $36.00 - $50.00 (Depending on Experience)
