Engineer-In-Training (Airport Development)

Responsibilities

• Perform engineering design using Autodesk Civil3D
• Coordinate CAD files and design with internal and external team members
• Prepare construction documents under the direction of a Project Engineer or Project Manager
• Tabulate and address client review comments from deliverables
• Utilize in-house methods of quality control to complete projects
• Incorporate applicable technical knowledge for added value to projects
• Strengthen technical knowledge through on-the-job, informal, and formal training
• Ensure appropriate reference material is utilized at all times
• Coverage and organization of project documentation
• Participation in monthly meetings and weekly project meetings
• Completion of work in accordance with company standards, policies, and procedures
• Compliance with Health & Safety Program, focusing on safety in field activities

Qualifications

• Minimum requirements: Strong commitment to Dibble's Values, ability to participate in complex projects, effective communication, technical skills, writing and verbal abilities, computer proficiency, and strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
• Education and experience: Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, or Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university, EIT registration in Arizona preferred, at least 2-3 years of civil engineering experience, and prior experience in Civil3D.
