- Collaborate with plant personnel and project stakeholders to define project objectives, develop scopes of work, and ensure solutions meet operational, budget, and schedule requirements.
- Prepare engineering analyses, technical evaluations, specifications, studies, investigations, and cost estimates to support plant operations, maintenance, and capital projects.
- Participate in capital projects and engineering initiatives involving equipment replacements, system upgrades, and long-term asset improvement strategies.
- Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and stakeholders on project execution, technical reviews, feasibility studies, and engineering recommendations.
- Present technical findings, recommendations, and project updates to plant personnel, leadership, and business partners.
- Research emerging technologies, industry best practices, and reliability improvement opportunities and provide recommendations for company operations.
- Interface with regulatory agencies, industry organizations, and external partners as needed.
- Ensure engineering work complies with applicable standards, codes, operating requirements, and regulatory obligations.
Requirements
- Four-year Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline or related applied science discipline (e.g., Materials Science/Metallurgy, Physics, Chemistry, Nuclear, Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, Electronics, Computer Science, Environmental, Chemical, Structural) from an ABET-accredited institution, an International Engineering Alliance (IEA) recognized institution, or an ABET Mutual Recognition Agreement (MRA).
