ENGINEER III - MAUI (WIKIWIKI)

Duties Summary

The Engineer III performs moderately difficult professional engineering work in the planning, design, construction, maintenance, operation and/or evaluation of engineering projects or facilities or assists higher-level engineers on more complex projects; and perform other related duties as assigned.

Legal Authorization To Work

The State of Hawaii requires all persons seeking employment with the government of the State shall be citizens, nationals, or permanent resident aliens of the United States, or eligible under federal law for unrestricted employment in the United States.

Basic Education

A bachelor's degree from a school of engineering from an accredited four-year college or university. Relevant substitutions as described in the complete Minimum Qualification Requirements will apply.

Engineering Experience

Two (2) years for the Level III of progressively responsible professional engineering experience which required the knowledge and application of the basic physical and mathematical sciences and the engineering sciences to the solution of theoretical or practical engineering problems.

Driver's License

Applicants must possess a valid driver's license at the time of appointment.

Special Requirements

Applicants must be able to lift and carry items of various weights with or without reasonable accommodation.

Pay

$6,721 to $7,490 per month (EN-22, Step D to H). Note: Hiring rates will be based on availability of funds, the applicant's qualifications, and other relevant factors.
