Key Responsibilities
- Plan and manage watershed, floodplain, and Green Infrastructure projects.
- Oversee capital projects: budgeting, permitting, design, construction, and post-construction monitoring.
- Develop policies, strategic plans, KPIs, and service standards.
- Represent the City in meetings and with stakeholders.
- Lead and mentor team members, managing workflow and performance.
What You Bring
- B.S. in Environmental, Civil, or Agricultural Engineering or equivalent.
- 7+ years experience, including 5+ in green infrastructure or landscape architecture.
- Proven project leadership and team management.
- Municipal utility experience preferred.
- Preferred Certifications:
- National Floodplain Manager Certification (or within 12 months).
- Indiana Pesticide & Fertilizer Applicator Certification Categories 5 & 6 (or within 12 months).
- Indiana Professional Engineer License.
- Valid Indiana Driver's License.
- Technical Skills: AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), Adobe Illustrator. Project management, stormwater modeling, regulatory compliance.
