Responsibilities

  • Support manufacturing operations
  • Troubleshoot production challenges and implement timely, effective solutions
  • Parenthesize and improve accuracy testing
  • Own and improve accuracy testing
  • Operate, troubleshoot, and enhance accuracy test stands
  • Design and execute product validation and verification testing
  • Drive continuous improvement
  • Lead value analysis/value engineering (VA/VE) and cost reduction initiatives
  • Apply Lean and Six Sigma principles to improve quality, efficiency, and reliability
  • Strengthen product quality and process control
  • Utilize statistical tools (SPC, DOE, Gage R&R) to inform decision-making
  • Develop and maintain process documentation, work instructions, and procedures
  • Serve as a key partner to R&D, quality, and manufacturing teams
  • Contribute to new product development as the accuracy testing expert
  • Ensure operational excellence
  • Support ISO audits and compliance activities

Requirements

  • Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering (or related field) and 3+ years of engineering experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Technical Skills: Experience with statistical analysis (SPC, DOE, Gage R&R) using tools like Minitab or Excel, Exposure to automation, controls, or manufacturing systems, Familiarity with data systems (e.g., SQL or basic programming)
  • Continuous Improvement Mindset: Lean Six Sigma Black Belt strongly preferred
  • Additional Strengths (Preferred): Metrology experience, Experience with automated test or manufacturing systems, Spanish language skills
