Job Summary

We are seeking a talented and driven engineering professional to join our team, taking ownership of the full lifecycle of complex machines, structures, and systems — from initial concept through final product delivery. Responsibilities

  • Design, model, develop, and test machines, structures, or systems from concept to completion
  • Develop and document comprehensive functional requirements for engineering projects
  • Apply standard engineering principles to solve complex technical challenges
  • Create simulations and build prototypes to evaluate preliminary designs and assess operational performance
  • Design and test individual components, then integrate them into cohesive final products
  • Maintain thorough engineering documentation including specifications, test reports, and design records
  • Monitor product quality and control the efficiency of manufacturing or operational processes
  • Evaluate overall design effectiveness with respect to cost, reliability, and safety standards
  • Investigate root causes of failures and recommend corrective actions and process improvements
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with design, manufacturing, and quality teams throughout the project lifecycle

Skills

  • Strong proficiency in engineering design and modeling methodologies
  • Solid understanding and practical application of core engineering principles
  • Experience with simulation tools and prototype development techniques
  • Ability to perform root cause analysis and implement effective corrective measures
  • Competency in evaluating designs for cost-efficiency, reliability, and safety compliance
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for technical documentation and cross-team collaboration
  • Attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Structural Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field
  • Professional Engineer (PE) licensure is a plus
  • Relevant industry certifications in quality management or systems engineering are an asset

Pay

The pay rate range for this position is 43.85 - 58.46 USD hourly.
