Engineer II

Position Summary

The mission of the Engineer is to deliver quality engineering and design documents that are constructable and meet the critical success factors defined for the project.

Qualifications

• BS degree in civil engineering with 2-5 years of experience or MS/MBA degree with 1 year of experience.
• Preferred: Registration as Engineer-in-Training (EIT).
• Valid driver’s license.

Skills

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Basic level of computer-aided design using AutoCAD, Civil3D, and/or OpenRoads required.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• See, hear, talk, stand, stoop, bend, walk, read, and write.
• Reach with hands and arms.
• Able to lift 25 lbs. or more.
• Able to work extended hours at times.

Environment

• Predominantly office environment.
• Sometimes works in outside weather conditions, possibly for extended assignments.
• The noise level in the office work environment is usually moderate.
• The noise level on the construction site is often loud.
