Responsibilities
- Independently identify waste and troubleshoot complex manufacturing problems
- Standardize and error-proof work for operations
- Improve process efficiency
- Support the commercialization process of new or modified products
- Ensure products and processes meet or exceed defined expectations
- Lead and provide technical direction to ensure process designs conform to sanitary standards
- Develop and utilize efficient systems to reduce costs by streamlining processes
- Identify and capitalize on opportunities for process efficiency, continuous improvement, associate development, and cost savings
- Reverse engineer machine components to improve functionality and reliability
- Provide technical expertise with regards to mechanical design of components, equipment, and processes
- Utilize engineering principles to demonstrate commitment to Rockline’s RRITE Values of Renew, Respect, Integrity, Teamwork, and Excellence
- Ensure all work is performed safely
- Contribute to a cooperative working effort by performing other job-related work as needed or requested
Qualifications
- Proven experience in manufacturing environments
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Technical proficiency in statistical analysis
- Experience with mechanical design and equipment development
- Ability to lead and mentor team members
- Commitment to safety and quality standards
