Proficient with AutoCAD 2D, AutoCAD 3D, and Inventor/Vault.
Responsibilities
- Generate facility layout drawings
- Create manufacturing drawings and details
- Perform system mechanical design and create fabrication drawings
- Create 3D models using AutoCAD Inventor
- Review CAD drawings prepared by other team members
- Study P&ID, specifications, and drawings to ensure all requirements are incorporated into the 3D model
- Perform pipe sizing calculations
Requirements
- Good understanding of drafting standards, geometric tolerances, and weld symbols
- Experience with machine, fabrication, and welding shop techniques and methods
- 3 years of piping design experience
- 3 years of Autodesk Inventor experience
