Responsibilities
- Oversee the design, development, and management of natural gas pipeline and station projects.
- Collaborate with a cross-functional team including project management, construction, and operations, ensuring compliance with design codes (CFR, FERC, PHMSA, DOT, etc.).
- Facilitate effective decision-making.
- Develop calculations, equipment specifications, requisitions, sketches, and drawings.
- Manage permit applications.
- Review contractor proposals.
- Produce, review, and approve construction drawing packages.
- Apply working knowledge of the natural gas design codes (Code of Federal Regulations part 192, Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration, DOT, etc.).
- Work with project team including Project Management, Construction and Operations while monitoring the engineering and design project.
- Manage permit applications and status.
- Lead engineering meetings with internal stakeholders.
- Manage multiple projects of moderate complexity concurrently.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
- Three (3) years in a similar capacity
- Valid Driver’s License
Qualifications
- Understanding of Engineering Principles as well as construction, maintenance and operations.
- Proficient in general business principles including Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to review engineering plans and understand permit requirements.
- Ability to train and mentor lower level team members.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a diverse work environment.
Skills
- Working knowledge of natural gas design codes (CFR, FERC, PHMSA, DOT, etc.)
- Microsoft Office Suite proficiency
