About the role
The Engineer I is responsible for designing, developing, and analyzing hydraulic products, both new and existing.
Responsibilities
- Create prototypes
- Perform engineering calculations
- Develop testing processes
- Validate designs
- Collaborate with Sales and Operations teams
- Manage engineering change requests
- Ensure product standards meet customer, manufacturing, and safety requirements
- Maintain engineering specifications
- Assist designers
- Conduct cost analyses
- Provide customer support through troubleshooting and field assistance
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering
- 0-7 years of experience
- Proficiency in SolidWorks, metal fabrication, and hydraulics
- Certification as a Fluid Power Hydraulic Specialist within one year
- Demonstrated attention to detail, project leadership, problem-solving skills, and knowledge of stress analysis and machining processes
