About the role

The Engineer I is responsible for designing, developing, and analyzing hydraulic products, both new and existing.

Responsibilities

  • Create prototypes
  • Perform engineering calculations
  • Develop testing processes
  • Validate designs
  • Collaborate with Sales and Operations teams
  • Manage engineering change requests
  • Ensure product standards meet customer, manufacturing, and safety requirements
  • Maintain engineering specifications
  • Assist designers
  • Conduct cost analyses
  • Provide customer support through troubleshooting and field assistance

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering
  • 0-7 years of experience
  • Proficiency in SolidWorks, metal fabrication, and hydraulics
  • Certification as a Fluid Power Hydraulic Specialist within one year
  • Demonstrated attention to detail, project leadership, problem-solving skills, and knowledge of stress analysis and machining processes
