Brief Description
Engineer I – Controls Software needed in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to design, develop, test, document, and support control software for HVAC products while contributing to product development, troubleshooting, quality assurance, and cross-functional collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and test control software for HVAC products
- Document and support control software
- Contribute to product development
- Contribute to troubleshooting technical issues
- Analyze data
- Work on project-based tasks
- Use MPLAB, STM32CubeIDE, C, Python, assembly, Git, Microsoft Office, and subsystem-level product components
- Develop real-time control algorithms
- Experience with firmware on microcontroller-based control systems
- Experience with communication protocols
- Integrate sensors and actuators
Requirements
- Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering or a related field
- Demonstrated knowledge in an engineering or software development role
- Experience using MPLAB, STM32CubeIDE, C, Python, assembly, Git, Microsoft Office, and subsystem-level product components
- Embedded experience with firmware on microcontroller-based control systems
- Experience with communication protocols
- Experience integrating sensors and actuators
- Experience developing real-time control algorithms
Qualifications
Applicants must have the minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering or a related field plus demonstrated knowledge in an engineering or software development role, including troubleshooting technical issues, analyzing data, project-based work, experience using MPLAB, STM32CubeIDE, C, Python, assembly, Git, Microsoft Office, and subsystem-level product components, as well as embedded experience with firmware on microcontroller-based control systems, communication protocols, integrating sensors and actuators, and developing real-time control algorithms. Demonstrated knowledge may be obtained prior to completion of degree.
