Responsibilities
- Create a safe and secure environment by maintaining buildings, grounds, and equipment in accordance with regulations and policies.
- Execute assigned responsibilities for buildings and grounds as directed by site leadership, including:
- Troubleshooting complex problems
- Working with contractors and vendors
- Maintaining life safety systems
- Implementing preventive maintenance routines
- Completing daily work orders
- Performing painting tasks
- Handling apartment turns
- Maintaining building and equipment maintenance
- Responding to customer requests
- Snow removal
- Pool care
- Assisting with other projects as assigned
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years experience in commercial or residential building maintenance.
- Able to work independently, multitask, follow directions, and work under supervision.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to provide a professional image to all customers.
- Demonstrated compatibility with PHS's mission and operating philosophies.
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language to effectively communicate with all customers.
- Must be able to participate in an after-hours emergency on-call rotation consisting of one week on-call at a frequency depending on the size of the on-call group.
Pay and Benefits
The estimated starting pay range for this role is $26.99 - $30.87 per hour. Full-time benefits include health and dental coverage, life insurance, retirement with an employer match, holiday pay, and paid time off. Part-time benefits include vision insurance, short-term and long-term disability coverage, and accident and hospitalization coverage.
