Engineer Bucket/Blade AeroMechanics
Roles and Responsibilities
- Own steampath bucket/blade component design in execution of NPI, ITR, and factory/field support activities for new unit and aftermarket services customer orders
- Drive technology advancements from overall system, sub-system and component vantage points
- Lead appropriate engineering discussions to understand design details and processes to ensure designs are robust and meet all customer requirements
- Follow rigorous NPI and software development tollgate processes from conceptual design through final validation across the full spectrum of Gas Power turbine configurations
- Design for EHS/Safety and demonstrate safety skillsets in support of manufacturing and field activities, i.e. lifting and transportation
- Demonstrate excellence in applying fundamentals of Mechanical Design, including material properties, statics, strength of materials, fluid dynamics, lifing methods related to fatigue (LCF & HCF) and creep
- Perform finite element analysis using (ANSYS)
- Collaborate with global & cross-functional team of internal Steam Turbine Engineers and external stakeholders (Product Definition / Global Supply Chain) enabling & fostering mutual technical growth and delivery for our customers
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline from an accredited university or college
- Some experience in designing turbomachinery components
- Proficiency in English
- Legal right to work

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is between $72,000.00 and $108,000.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.
