About the role
The Battery Thermal Simulation Engineer will be responsible to develop, maintain, and conduct high-voltage (HV) Li-Ion battery pack-level thermal and CFD analysis, develop battery pack thermal models based on test results, and provide technical advice to internal and external customers for the design optimization of HV automotive Li-Ion battery packs.
Responsibilities

- Provide technical advice to internal and external customers for the design optimization of HV automotive Li-Ion battery packs
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in battery thermal simulation or similar field
- Experience with thermal modeling software such as ANSYS Fluent, COMSOL Multiphysics, or similar tools
- Strong understanding of battery chemistry, thermal management systems, and electric vehicle technologies
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team
Qualifications
- Proficiency in MATLAB, Python, or similar programming languages
- Experience with data analysis and interpretation
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
Skills
- Thermal analysis and CFD expertise
- Experience with battery thermal management systems
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
