Engineer
About the role
Foster a positive working environment and enhance employee relations. Work in a unique team that works on a wide variety of projects, including highways and local roadways, bike trails, pedestrian facilities, drainage facilities, and more. Lead roadway design projects.
Responsibilities
- Prepare plans, technical specifications, and cost estimates.
- Perform technical studies and prepare technical documents such as Project Reports.
- Develop appropriate preliminary concepts and layouts.
- Oversee and mentor entry-level staff.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
- California Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience on roadway design projects.
- Expert in AutoCAD Civil 3D and other design-related software.
- Experience using roadway design standards such as Caltrans Highway Design Manual and Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices.

The range does not reflect geographic variations and may fluctuate above or below the stated amount. Offers will be based on several factors, including experience, education, skills, licensure, certifications, training, and location. Base pay is just one part of the comprehensive compensation package offered by Wood Rodgers.
