Engineer

Key Skills/Responsibilities

• Take charge of daily inspections, repairs, and fine-tuning across our hotels plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and other systems.
• Catch small issues before they become big ones.
• Perform preventive maintenance in guest rooms, common spaces, and on essential equipment (from refrigerators to ice machines).
• Ensure everything runs smoothly for an exceptional guest experience.
• Handle minor carpentry, painting, and furniture repairs to keep the hotel both beautiful and fully operational.
• Jump into action to solve equipment hiccups, leaks, and mysterious electrical issues.
• Tackle emergencies like fire alarms and power outages with cool confidence, always prioritizing guest safety.
• Move objects over 50 lbs., scale ladders, and perform physically demanding tasks with strength and stamina.
• Follow OSHA safety guidelines when using tools, handling chemicals, and operating machinery.
• Keep work areas spotless and safe, with proper storage for tools and hazardous materials.

Education & Experience

• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience in hotel maintenance or a related field is preferred.
• A trade license (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry) is highly desirable.
• A valid driver's license is required, with an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
