About the role

A Java API Developer is needed to join our dynamic team. This position will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality APIs using Java 8, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop RESTful APIs using Java 8, Spring Boot, and microservices patterns like gateway, discovery, config, and sidecar services.
• Implement internal and/or external cloud implementations using AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Integrate Spring with Apache Kafka, AMQP, RabbitMQ, or ActiveMQ.
• Work with RDBMS such as DB2 or Postgres.
• Develop web applications using HTML5, React.js, CSS, and web development frameworks like NodeJS, Webpack.
• Apply testing frameworks like JEST, Selenium, Cucumber, and concepts of Test-Driven Development.
• Manage security aspects including TLS, MTLS, OAuth2, and session management.
• Utilize deployment tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Fortify, Sonar, and Black Duck.

Requirements

• Proven experience with Java 8, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture.
• Knowledge of REST API design and specifications.
• Experience with internal and/or external cloud implementations on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Experience with Spring integration and messaging protocols like Kafka, AMQP, RabbitMQ, or ActiveMQ.
• Experience with RDBMS such as DB2 or Postgres.
• Experience with web development frameworks like React.js, NodeJS, Webpack.
• Familiarity with testing frameworks like JEST, Selenium, Cucumber.
• Experience with security aspects including TLS, MTLS, OAuth2, and session management.
• Experience with deployment tools like Docker, Kubernetes.
• Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Sonar, Black Duck.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience.

Pay

$110,000 - $120,000 per year
