About the role
Crescent Hotels & Resorts invites you to join the engineering team at the Remi Hotel, a new build Autograph Collection property located in downtown Scottsdale's Entertainment District. The Remi Hotel blends classic western elements with modern design, offering a unique blend of luxury and vibrancy.
Responsibilities
- Perform general maintenance and preventative care to ensure the hotel meets top-tier standards.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, lighting, HVAC, plumbing, and hotel equipment.
- Keep the hotel’s exterior looking its best with seasonal upkeep.
- Refurbish and repair guest room furniture and fixtures as needed.
- Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests and maintenance issues ensuring service standards are achieved.
Requirements
- A self-motivated team player with a can-do attitude.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, work in varying temperatures, and operate heavy machinery.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Prior experience in hotel maintenance or a similar role is required.
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in hotel maintenance or a similar role. Prior experience with HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems is preferred.
Skills
- Proficiency in using common tools and equipment used in hotel maintenance.
- Knowledge of safety protocols and emergency procedures.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
