Engineer
About the role
Constellation is the largest private-sector power producer in the world and a leader in clean energy production. This role is available at three levels: Entry Level (E01), Mid-level (E02), and Senior (E03) Engineer. The primary purpose of this position is to provide in-depth technical expertise to develop, manage, and implement engineering analysis, activities, and programs. It also involves providing technical expertise and consultation, performing independent research, and recommending improvements to performance, construction, costs, and compliance with regulations.
Responsibilities
- Provide in-depth technical expertise to develop, manage, and implement engineering analysis, activities, and programs.
- Provide technical expertise and consultation through direct involvement and as a subject matter expert when consulted to identify and resolve equipment and system problems.
- Directly fulfill engineering and technical leadership accountability regarding short-term and long-term programs that impact site operations.
- Accountable for the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of work ensuring proper configuration management and assuring that standard design criteria, practices, procedures, and codes are used in preparation of plans and specifications.
- Perform engineering tasks as assigned by supervision applying engineering principles.
- Recommend equipment, new concepts, and techniques to improve performance, simplify construction, reduce costs, correct design or material flaws, or comply with changes in codes or regulations.
- Perform other job assignments and duties as directed by management or pursuant to company policy, including but not limited to emergency response, departmental coverage, call outs, and support of outage activities in positions outside the department.
Requirements
- Entry Level (E01): Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Chemical, Civil/Structural, Electrical, Industrial, Mechanical or Nuclear)
- Maintain minimum access requirements or unescorted access requirements, as applicable, and favorable medical examination and/or testing in accordance with position duties
- Mid-level (E02): Bachelor’s degree in engineering (chemical, civil/structural, electrical, industrial, mechanical or nuclear) with 2 years of nuclear or related engineering experience
- Maintain minimum access requirements or unescorted access requirements, as applicable, and favorable medical examination and/or testing in accordance with position duties
- Senior (E03): Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Chemical, Civil/Structural, Electrical, Industrial, Mechanical or Nuclear) with 5 years of nuclear experience or related engineering experience
- Maintain minimum access requirement or unescorted access requirements, as applicable, and favorable medical examination and/or testing in accordance with position duties
Qualifications
- Professional Engineer Registration
- Engineering disciplines - open to Mechanical, Electrical, Civil / Structural and I & C Engineers
- Seeking experience in design and modification of turbines, motors, pumps, heaters, transformers, generators etc.
Skills
Excellent knowledge in functional discipline and its practical application, detailed knowledge of applicable industry codes and regulations, and ability to recommend improvements to performance, construction, costs, and compliance with regulations.

Mid-Level - $92,700 - $114,000
Senior - $122,400- $154,000
