Engineer Associate

Job Purpose and Impact

The Engineer Associate will help optimize the interconnected components of a manufacturing system. They will develop and apply engineering standards and procedures, provide advice on issues within the engineering field, and collaborate with senior professionals to contribute to planning, designing, and estimating time and cost, overseeing construction and maintenance of our structures, facilities, systems, and components.

Key Accountabilities

• Follow prescribed guidelines or policies to analyze and resolve problems.
• Continue to build knowledge of the organization, processes, and customers.
• Contribute to designing and improving manufacturing processes, instruments, and equipment, testing manufactured products to maintain quality.
• Handle basic issues and problems under direct supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.

Qualifications

• Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in a manufacturing environment. Knowledge of SAP and data analysis tools such as Power BI, Excel. Process mindset and hands-on process engineering (design, evaluate, and support improvement end-to-end processes, quality, and efficiency).
