We need to output HTML fragment with sections: About the role? Actually the posting includes Job Summary, Job Description, What You'll Do, What we're looking for, you'll get, etc. We need to use

for section headings: About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule. But we should only include sections when posting has real specific content. We need to map content to these headings. We have: - Job Summary: description of role: "Responsible to the assigned supervisor for performing intermediate level engineering work activities and projects requiring the application of engineering knowledge in a safe, effective, efficient and economic accomplishment of assigned objectives." That's about the role. - Job Description: includes details about vacancy posted in a range, two open positions, Station or Protection and Controls Engineer. Could be part of About the role or Responsibilities. - What You'll Do: includes Technical Expertise, Leadership & Guidance, Planning & Organization Ability, Problem Solving & Initiative, Communication, Interpersonal Skills, Decision Making, Business Awareness & Characteristics. That's responsibilities. - What we're looking for: Education and Work Experience requirements: entry level for new graduates with Bachelor's degree in engineering ABET accredited, passing FE exam encouraged, VP may waive requirement for non-ABET. That's qualifications/requirements. - What you'll get: compensation ranges for Engineer/Engineer Technologist Associate, Engineer/Engineer Technologist, Engineer/Engineer Technologist Sr, plus benefits description. So we have Pay and Benefits. - Also there is Compensation Data: Compensation Grade: SP20-007 Compensation Range: $74,551.00 - $128,688.00. That's pay. - Physical Demand Level: S – Sedentary Work... Could be part of Schedule? Not schedule. Might be omitted as not requested. - No explicit schedule info. Thus we will include sections: About the role (Job Summary + Job Description overview), Responsibilities (What You'll Do), Requirements (Education and Work Experience), Qualifications maybe same as Requirements? But we need to avoid duplication. Could combine Requirements and Qualifications into one? But spec says use headings for each if content exists. We have content for Requirements (education/experience) and Qualifications maybe same? Could treat Qualifications as additional qualifications like skills? But we have skills listed under What You'll Do (Technical Expertise etc). That could be Skills section. Better: Use sections: - About the role (Job Summary + brief description of positions) - Responsibilities (What You'll Do bullet points) - Requirements (Education and Work Experience) - Skills (Technical Expertise etc) maybe but that overlaps with Responsibilities. However we can treat Skills as separate: list of skills like analytical techniques, coordination, planning, problem solving, communication, interpersonal, decision making, business awareness. - Benefits (benefits package description) - Pay (compensation ranges) We should not include Schedule as no info. We must not repeat job title as heading. No Job ID etc. We must preserve all substantive information, not invent or summarize away detail. Must not omit details. Need to include all specifics: e.g., "Technical Expertise: Possesses intermediate level knowledge and performs varied assignments with proficiency in the application of theory and analytical techniques to solve diverse problems and complete extensive analysis. Demonstrates competency in analytical techniques necessary to handle assignments of moderate complexity. (e.g., by dividing the problem into component steps, and performing the analysis necessary to complete each step). Exhibits ability to understand interrelationship between systems and component equipment. Demonstrate ability to analyze and recommend enhancements to business processes." etc. We need to format lists with
  • . For prose use

. We need to include headings

for each section. We must not include boilerplate like EEO, etc. Remove those. We must not include navigation, cookie, legal, etc. We must not include application instructions like "Get job alerts by email", etc. We must not include the Physical Demand Level? It's substantive but not requested heading; maybe we could include as a

under About the role? But spec says only use headings for those categories; we can still include extra paragraphs not under headings? The instruction: "Use

for section headings (e.g. About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule). Use
    • for any list of duties/requirements/benefits, and

for prose. Do NOT repeat the job title as a heading ... Prefer a few substantive sections over many thin ones. Output ONLY the HTML fragment". It doesn't forbid other paragraphs outside headings, but likely they expect sections only. However we can include extra paragraphs under a heading if needed. We need to preserve all substantive information; we cannot drop Physical Demand Level. Could include it under About the role as a paragraph. Similarly Compensation Data (grade) could be under Pay. We need to avoid duplication. Let's craft:

      About the role

Responsible to the assigned supervisor for performing intermediate level engineering work activities and projects requiring the application of engineering knowledge in a safe, effective, efficient and economic accomplishment of assigned objectives. This vacancy is posted in a range; the minimum requirements are for Engineer/Engineering Technologist Associate, with higher grades for increased experience. Two open positions are available for either a Station Engineer or a Protection and Controls Engineer. The Physical Demand Level for this job is S – Sedentary Work: exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body; sedentary work involves sitting most of the time but may involve walking or standing for brief periods.

      Responsibilities

      • Technical Expertise: Possesses intermediate level knowledge and performs varied assignments with proficiency in the application of theory and analytical techniques to solve diverse problems and complete extensive analysis. Demonstrates competency in analytical techniques necessary to handle assignments of moderate complexity (e.g., by dividing the problem into component steps, and performing the analysis necessary to complete each step). Exhibits ability to understand interrelationship between systems and component equipment. Demonstrates ability to analyze and recommend enhancements to business processes.
      • Leadership & Guidance: Coordinates work activities of others within the work group, department, or other corporate entity as necessary to complete routine activities. Performs routine engineering activity with minimum direction from higher-level employees. Follows policies, practices, standards and rules of the company and those regulations and procedures required by external agencies. Provides training and guidance to lower-level employees.
      • Planning & Organization Ability: Coordinates the development of input necessary to forecast costs for routine projects, improvements requisitions, etc. Uses scheduling techniques (CPM, PERT, flow charts, etc.) for budget and planning activities. Initiates corrective action when project objectives are not being met.
      • Problem Solving & Initiative: Resolves and initiates solutions to routine problems which usually require additional definition/clarification before analysis can begin. Demonstrates ability to identify problems that are beyond the normal routine. Demonstrates ability and desire to seek out opportunities and embrace new ideas and approaches.
      • Communication: Develops, reviews, or presents technical reports such as improvement requisitions, studies, and analyses in as clear, concise and effective fashion.
      • Interpersonal Skills: Is an active team member. Networks with peers inside and outside the AEP system. Identifies key stakeholders. Uses informal network to get things done. Resolves conflict, builds consensus.
      • Decision Making: Makes decisions subject to review within established policies and procedures. Makes decisions that affect the work of the team. Aware of risks. Demonstrates the ability to extrapolate beyond known facts to reach logical conclusions.
      • Business Awareness & Characteristics: Understands AEP's organizational structure and the specific role and responsibility of their individual organizational unit. Requirements

This is an entry level position for new graduates with a Bachelor's degree in engineering in a program accredited by ABET*. Passing the Fundamentals of Engineering examination in preparation for future licensing as a Professional Engineer (PE) is encouraged and preferred. VP or above may waive the requirement for a degree from a university with a non‑ABET accredited program.

      Skills

The role requires intermediate level engineering knowledge, analytical techniques, coordination and leadership abilities, planning and scheduling skills (CPM, PERT, flow charts), problem‑solving initiative, clear technical communication, interpersonal and teamwork abilities, decision‑making within policies, and business awareness including budgeting, economic analysis, utility regulation and financing.

The company emphasizes a mission to put the customer first, delivering safe, reliable, and innovative energy solutions, and strives to exceed expectations by listening, responding, and continuously improving service to communities.

      Pay

      Compensation ranges:

      • Engineer/Engineer Technologist Associate: $74,551.00 – $93,188.00 per year
      • Engineer/Engineer Technologist: $87,633.00 – $109,542.00 per year
      • Engineer/Engineer Technologist Sr: $98,993.00 – $128,688.00 per year

      Compensation Grade: SP20‑007; overall compensation range: $74,551.00 – $128,688.00.

We must not include schedule section. Check for any boilerplate removed: EEO, etc removed. Also removed "Get job alerts by email", "Log in to your Candidate Home Account", etc. Also removed "If you're passionate about making a meaningful impact..." that's marketing fluff but maybe considered substantive? It's not a requirement; but it's part of the posting describing culture. Could be considered boilerplate? It's not EEO but it's promotional. The instruction: "Remove cookie/navigation/legal/EEO/equal-opportunity/scam-warning boilerplate, duplicated lines, and application instructions." That promotional paragraph is not explicitly listed; but it's not substantive info about role, responsibilities, requirements, pay, benefits. It's more marketing. Might be considered boilerplate? Safer to keep? The instruction says preserve ALL substantive information; does not say to remove marketing fluff. However they said "Prefer a few substantive sections over many thin ones." The marketing fluff could be considered thin. I'd remove it to keep sections thin. But we already have Benefits section describing benefits package; we could incorporate that mission statement into Benefits. It's okay to keep a sentence about mission in Benefits. We already have Benefits paragraph about comprehensive benefits package and mission. That's fine. We removed the line "If you're passionate about making a meaningful impact and being part of a forward-thinking organization, this is the company for you!" and "#AEPCareers". That's fine. Check duplication: we didn't repeat. Now ensure we didn't miss any substantive info: Job Summary, Job Description (two open positions, Station or Protection and Controls Engineer) included in About the role. What You'll Do covered in Responsibilities. Education/Experience in Requirements. Skills we summarized but we might lose some specifics like "Possesses intermediate level knowledge and performs varied assignments with proficiency in the application of theory and analytical techniques..." That's already in Responsibilities; we could keep Skills as a summary but we already have details in Responsibilities. Might be redundant but okay. We also included Physical Demand Level in About the role. We included Compensation Grade
