Engineer/Applied Physicist

About the role

We are assembling an interdisciplinary team to develop perfusion systems, cryoprotectant formulations, and vitrification and rewarming hardware. This work will lay the foundation for whole-body reversible cryopreservation, enabling patients to safely wait for future cures.

Responsibilities

• Design and analyze both analog and digital circuitry
• Develop and optimize cryoprotectant formulations
• Contribute to the development of perfusion systems and vitrification/rewarming hardware
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success
• Contribute to the creation of technology that makes organ preservation and transplantation more accessible and efficient

Requirements

• Strong fundamentals in both a scientific (physics, chemistry, biology) and an engineering (electrical, mechanical, computational) discipline
• Experience designing and analyzing both analog and digital circuitry
• Experience with basic control systems and mechanical design
• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, or equivalent
• 3+ years experience/graduate level in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, or equivalent
