About the role
We are assembling an interdisciplinary team to develop perfusion systems, cryoprotectant formulations, and vitrification and rewarming hardware. This work will lay the foundation for whole-body reversible cryopreservation, enabling patients to safely wait for future cures.
Responsibilities
- Design and analyze both analog and digital circuitry
- Develop and optimize cryoprotectant formulations
- Contribute to the development of perfusion systems and vitrification/rewarming hardware
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success
- Contribute to the creation of technology that makes organ preservation and transplantation more accessible and efficient
Requirements
- Strong fundamentals in both a scientific (physics, chemistry, biology) and an engineering (electrical, mechanical, computational) discipline
- Experience designing and analyzing both analog and digital circuitry
- Experience with basic control systems and mechanical design
- Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, or equivalent
- 3+ years experience/graduate level in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, or equivalent
