As part of the Security and Electronic Systems (SES) Strategic Business Unit, you will join a team that designs, engineers, integrates, operates, and maintains electronic security services, including intrusion detection, access control, biometric authentication, video surveillance, audiovisual, IT systems, perimeter defense, and command and control systems for federal, local, and commercial customers across high-growth markets.
Responsibilities
- Provide system programming and management support for large-scale networking infrastructures, including administration and maintenance of high-performance computer configurations, systems, and peripherals.
- Participate in system integration projects, system performance analyses, problem resolution, and system security initiatives.
- Work with senior staff in the development of system management tools and collaborate with other departments to provide a comprehensive support infrastructure for commercial, corporate, and governmental users.
- Maintain system documentation and maintenance records; generate weekly and/or monthly summary status reports.
- Spend 4 to 6 hours per week staying current on industry trends and available products and services.
- Perform staging and setup for project support and self-instruction.
- Work closely with Systems Engineers to install and configure networks based on an Installation Design Package (IDP) that satisfies customer needs.
- Research equipment from multiple manufacturers to resolve technical issues during installation and testing.
- Collaborate with the Design Department to identify and correct design problems during the design cycle.
- Suggest process improvements and cost savings to aid the Implementation Department for future installations.
- Provide systems support for a large-scale, high-performance computing center, including installation and management of computer systems, workstations, operating systems, peripherals, and system interfaces.
- Monitor system usage and evaluate performance against defined performance goals.
- Design automation systems, including lists of quantities and types of materials used.
- Create user guideline documentation and manuals for custom programs and applications.
- Work within a lab environment to learn different IT and ESS systems.
Requirements
- U.S. Citizenship is required; ability to obtain a SECRET Clearance is mandatory.
- Bachelor’s degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or a related discipline from an accredited college or university.
- 7+ years of experience in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity, with a focus on providing SE services for physical security systems and IT solutions.
- Must obtain a Security+ certification within 6 months of employment.

Pay
USD $125,000.00 – USD $172,000.00 per year.
