Engineer 3 (java) Full Stack

What You'll Do

• Design, develop, test, and deploy modern full-stack applications and RESTful APIs.
• Build scalable, event-driven solutions using technologies such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• Create responsive user interfaces with Vue.js.
• Develop containerized applications using Docker (Kubernetes experience is a plus).
• Work with SQL databases including SQL Server and DB2 to design and optimize data solutions.
• Deploy and support applications in AWS (Azure experience is a plus).
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following SOLID principles and engineering best practices.
• Collaborate with product owners, engineers, and business partners in a SAFe Agile environment.
• Participate in code reviews, pair programming, sprint planning, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Mentor teammates and contribute to technical documentation and engineering standards.
• Participate in an on-call rotation to provide production support.

What You'll Bring

• 5+ years of experience developing enterprise software applications.
• Strong experience with Java, REST APIs, and modern software architecture.
• Experience with Vue.js or another modern JavaScript framework.
• Knowledge of event-driven architecture using Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• Experience with Docker and CI/CD practices.
• Strong SQL skills and experience working with relational databases.
• Familiarity with AWS cloud services; Azure experience is a plus.
• Experience working in Agile/SAFe environments using Jira and Confluence.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
• A passion for learning new technologies and continuously improving engineering practices.
