Engineer 3, Energy Efficiency
Responsibilities
Ensures technical issues and problems are resolved in a timely, efficient and cost-effective manner utilizing available resources.
Supervises, leads, and coordinates work with full time and contract employees in the execution of new technical strategies, equipment or standards.
Counsels and trains junior engineering levels.
Supports audits and inspections; ensures compliance with relevant environmental, health, and safety regulations.
Provides engineering and technical expertise and guidance for the identification, analysis and resolution of high impact, complex and/or cross-functional problems in engineering.
Provides support and technical training to junior engineering levels.
A material job duty of all positions within the Company is ensuring the protection of all its physical, financial and cybersecurity assets, and properly accessing and managing private customer data, proprietary information, confidential medical records, and other types of highly sensitive information and data with the highest standards of conduct and integrity.
Qualifications
- Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Bachelor's Degree in a scientific/technical/math field. Five or more years of experience in engineering within operations, production, construction or maintenance environments. Possess a valid Class C Driver's License.
- Possess a P.E. License or E.I.T Certification.
- Experience working with CPUC staff and its consultants.
- Understanding energy savings calculation methodology of EE programs.
- Three or more years of experience in managing vendors, coordinating with technical staff and consultants involved in the development and review of Deemed measure packages.

Additional Information
This position’s work mode is hybrid. The employee will report to an SCE facility for a set number of days with the option to work remotely on the remaining days. Unless otherwise noted, employees are required to work and reside in the state of California. Further details of this work mode will be discussed at the interview stage. The work mode can be changed based on business needs.
