Engine Technician I

About the role

This position supports the Engine Department at Texas Speed and Performance.

Responsibilities

• Assembles Rocker Arm Sets
• Responsible for all Rocker Arm assembly components and boxes
• Engages in Engine Tear Down Process (labeling components and maintaining traceability)
• Conducts Visual Inspection of all blocks from start to finish
• Cleans and washes parts as needed
• Assists in inventory management as required
• Maintains cleanliness and tidiness of the tear down and rocker arm areas
• Assists with part picking as required
• Performs Rod Honing
• Supports a positive workplace environment by maintaining positive working relationships with manufacturing personnel and other staff members
• Enforces industry-standard safety procedures throughout the block department
• Performs and executes all other duties assigned by direct manager

Requirements

• A dynamic, high-energy individual with a proven track record as an effective communicator and collaborator in problem-solving
• Exceptional mechanical abilities
• Ability to use measuring equipment such as micrometers, calipers, bore gauges, etc.

Pay

$17 - $20 BOE
