This position at Roush Yates Racing Engines is ideal for someone passionate about engines who thrives on dissecting and analyzing their components. You’ll work in a hands-on environment where attention to detail is critical, playing a crucial role in the disassembly, inspection, and evaluation of NASCAR engines returning from the track. By meticulously cleaning, inspecting, and analyzing engine components, you’ll serve as the first line of defense in ensuring engine performance and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble NASCAR engines returning from the track.
• Inspect and evaluate engine components for wear, damage, or defects.
• Clean engine parts thoroughly for accurate analysis.
• Document findings and report issues to the team.
• Follow company-established safety procedures to ensure a safe work environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
• Strong attention to detail for meticulous inspection of engine components.
• Prior experience or education in engine teardown is preferred but not required.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes.
• Ability to work effectively within a team setting.

Requirements

• Ability to lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.
• Capable of standing for long periods while working.
• Must be a U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident for ITAR compliance.
