About the role
The AWS Professional Services team is seeking a highly skilled and versatile Engagement Manager to lead the delivery of complex cloud solution projects.
Responsibilities
Leading and managing complex cloud migration and implementation projects
Leveraging comprehensive knowledge of AWS services, architectures, and best practices to guide technical decisions and strategic planning
Bridging business requirements with technical solutions, facilitating engineering discussions and ensuring alignment with customer business outcomes
Distingushing customer needs into clear technical requirements and mapping them to business outcomes
Decomposing complex technical problems into actionable, deliverable solutions
Contributing to technical documentation and defining documentation standards
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, economics, computer science, data science, engineering, or other related field
5+ years of project/program management experience
Experience with Agile or other program management methodologies
4+ years of IT implementation experience
Current, active US Government Security Clearance of TS/SCI or above
Qualifications
Experience with AWS services or other cloud offerings
Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification
Experience working with and presenting to C-level executives, IT, and lines of businesses across organizations or equivalent
Experience managing technical projects consisting of 4 or more people totaling over a $250,000 budget
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Experience supporting DoD/DoW & National Security mission systems, and the ability to represent AWS within the customer's environment, driving discussions with senior personnel regarding trade-offs, best practices, project management, and risk mitigation
Skills
Applying AWS frameworks like Well-Architected and Cloud Adoption Framework while demonstrating technical credibility across diverse stakeholders, validating technical solutions against business goals, recognizing when additional technical evaluation is needed, and managing technical risks.

Pay
Base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.

USA, FL, Tampa - 131,200.00 - 177,600.00 USD annually
USA, VA, Arlington - 131,200.00 - 177,600.00 USD annually
USA, VA, Herndon - 131,200.00 - 177,600.00 USD annually
USA, WA, Seattle - 131,200.00 - 177,600.00 USD annually
