Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact and trusted advisor for assigned client engagements.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction and engagement success.
- Oversee the successful delivery of Workday implementations, optimization projects, and ongoing support engagements.
- Partner with Project Managers, consultants, and client stakeholders to ensure project objectives, timelines, and deliverables are achieved.
- Monitor overall engagement health, proactively identifying and addressing risks, issues, and resource constraints.
- Manage engagement financials, including budgets, forecasts, resource utilization, and overall engagement profitability.
- Lead client governance meetings, executive status reviews, and strategic planning discussions.
- Cook up coordination internal consulting teams across functional, technical, integration, testing, data conversion, and change management workstreams.
- Support project scoping, solution planning, and transition activities from sales through delivery.
- Identify opportunities for additional services, enhancements, and long-term client partnership growth.
- Ensure project documentation, deliverables, and governance artifacts meet quality and compliance standards.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and promote delivery best practices across engagements.
- Collaborate with teams in the U.S. and India to support a seamless global delivery model.
- Mentor Project Managers and consulting team members while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and client success.
Requirements
- 5-8 years of experience managing Workday implementations, consulting engagements, or enterprise technology projects.
- Demonstrated success leading client-facing Workday engagements from initiation through go-live and post-production support.
- Strong understanding of engagement management, project governance, resource planning, budgeting, forecasting, and delivery operations.
- Experience managing executive stakeholder relationships and facilitating strategic client discussions.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional consulting teams and coordinate multiple stakeholders.
- Exceptional communication, leadership, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working with distributed and global consulting teams is preferred.
Qualifications & Certifications
- Active Workday Certification in one or more Workday product areas (HCM, Payroll, Benefits, Recruiting, Time Tracking, Absence, Financials, or related modules).
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Human Resources, Computer Science, or a related field.
- PREFERRED: Workday Project Manager Certification, PMP (Project Management Professional) certification, MBA or other advanced degree, Agile, Scrum, or Lean Six Sigma certifications.
- Experience supporting Statements of Work (SOWs), project estimation, and consulting services delivery.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Google Workspace (Sheets, Slides, Docs) and Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Experience with project management, resource management, and collaboration tools.
- Strong understanding of project reporting, forecasting, utilization tracking, and delivery metrics.
Pay
The expected pay range for this position is $150,000.00 - $190,000.00 USD annually, based on the candidate's qualifications and experience.
