About the role
The NAVLIN US Consulting Engagement Manager will play a key role in managing client relationships and driving consulting revenue growth while mentoring a growing US team, ensuring project outcomes, and delivering client delight. This role involves leading projects that range from strategic thinking backed by data-driven tools to pure market research, translating market research and analytics into actionable commercial strategies. Projects may include pricing, market access launch strategy, competitor research, value-based pricing analysis, health-technology assessments, and more. Responsibilities
- Build and maintain relationships with senior client stakeholders, proactively identifying strategic challenges and opportunities to expand client partnerships.
- Drive business development through identification of follow-on opportunities, proposal development, and expansion of existing client accounts.
- Contribute to consulting methodologies, pricing and market access frameworks, thought leadership content, and knowledge management initiatives.
- Oversee project staffing, budgeting, scope management, and profitability across multiple concurrent engagements.
- Lead teams in structuring complex business problems in US and global pricing, reimbursement, and market access strategies, developing analytical frameworks, and synthesizing research into actionable recommendations.
- Develop compelling, high-quality client-facing materials and present strategic recommendations to senior leadership.
- Champion adoption of AI-enabled consulting workflows, including knowledge management, research acceleration, workflow automation, and reusable team capabilities.
- Implement and improve consulting methodologies and pharmaceutical market knowledge across the team.
- Mentor and coach junior staff members, providing timely feedback to ensure professional growth and project excellence.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring client delight and establishing thought partnership and trusted-advisor relationships.

Expectations
- Travel: less than 10%, 2-3 times per quarter (US + International).
- Hours: minimum of 40-50 hours per week.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
- 5-7+ years of experience in life sciences consulting, including demonstrated leadership of project teams, client relationships, and business development activities.
- Deep expertise in US pricing and market access, including mastery of payer analytics and working knowledge of value-based pricing models.
- Strong research, conceptual, analytic, and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated proactivity, self-awareness, and accountability.
- Mastery of time management and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to develop and oversee the creation of well-structured PowerPoint presentations.
- Appetite for learning and ability to work in both collaborative and independent remote environments.
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced degree (MBA, PhD, or MS) in a relevant field (e.g., Math, Economics, Engineering, Sciences, or Business).
- Prior experience in life sciences commercial strategy and/or pricing & market access consulting.
- Experience with secondary research (e.g., clinical guidelines) and primary research (in-depth interviews and surveys).
- Proficiency in data visualization and analytics tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, SQL, or Python) for complex payer data analysis.
- Experience using Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools to support research, insight generation, content development, workflow automation, and productivity improvement.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively prompt AI systems, critically evaluate and validate AI-generated outputs, and apply AI responsibly within consulting workflows.
- Experience developing or leveraging AI agents and automated workflows is preferred.
Physical/Mental Demands and Working Environment
The role is primarily office-based, requiring frequent reaching, grasping, standing, and/or sitting for long periods (up to 90% of the shift), walking, talking, and hearing. Occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. The noise level is usually moderately quiet, with frequent interruptions and multiple demands.
