Engagement Manager II
Responsibilities
- Working independently as a trusted advisor for customer stakeholders to support their long-term strategy and visions
- Owning the technical program management while maximizing Akamai's platform value for the customer
- Leading the integrated account team delivering customer success
- Education customers on and empowering their adoption of Akamai's products and services to support account growth
- Responding to escalations when various program management issues arise and leading operational improvements to mitigate future risks
Requirements
- 8 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or its equivalent
- Relevant experience in customer-facing technical roles within public cloud or cloud software companies
- Proven ability to manage and deliver large-scale cloud projects for enterprise customers
- Solid consulting, relationship-building, and communication skills with stakeholders at all organizational levels
- Hands-on expertise in IaaS, Kubernetes, containers, CI/CD pipelines, or other modern cloud technologies
- Program or project management experience across cross-functional technical teams, with cloud architect certifications
- Proficient in English and Mandarin (written and spoken), with solid presentation skills to explain complex technical concepts clearly
- Willingness to travel 25-35% to customer offices, and cover the West Coast area (California and Seattle)
Qualifications

Pay
For US based candidates only - the base salary for this position ranges from $119,600 - $215,400/year; a candidate’s salary is determined by various factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and location. Compensation for candidates outside the US will vary.
