About the role

The Senior Engagement Manager plays a critical role in helping grow the Audience Intelligence, Analytics & Data Science business by translating client challenges into impactful, data-driven solutions. You will partner with commercial leaders, clients, strategists, analysts, and project teams to manage client relationships, understand client needs, shape solutions, develop compelling proposals, and help bring new opportunities to life.

You are equally comfortable discussing business strategy with senior clients, designing solutions with technical experts and data scientists, presenting capabilities in a pitch, and helping guide projects through delivery. You excel in environments where you encounter different opportunities, and solving new problems energizes you. The ideal candidate combines consulting experience and commercial acumen with excellent communication skills and enough technical understanding of analytics, AI, healthcare/life sciences, and marketing data to confidently connect client challenges with the right solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with commercial leaders to manage new business opportunities from initial client conversations through proposal development and project kickoff.
  • Listen carefully to client challenges and translate needs into structured problem statements, solution frameworks, and commercially viable approaches.
  • Work with data analysts, strategists, data scientists, project managers, and leadership to design solutions.
  • Guide the development of statements of work, project briefs, timelines, budgets, and delivery approaches that balance client value with operational excellence and feasibility.
  • Help define pricing, project scope, resource requirements, and expected outcomes alongside leadership teams.
  • Develop an active pipeline of opportunities, ensuring prospects continue moving forward through thoughtful follow-up and value-driven engagement.
  • Develop and present capabilities, case studies, methodologies, products, and proposed solutions to both internal teams and client partners.
  • Partner with delivery teams during project execution to maintain continuity between what was sold and what is delivered.
  • Align expectations throughout engagements, acting as the bridge between commercial conversations and project execution.
  • Identify opportunities to expand existing client relationships through additional services, products, or analytical capabilities.
  • Build relationships across strategy, analytics, account management, creative, media, and leadership teams to ensure seamless collaboration.
  • Contribute to the evolution of the team's products, methodologies, frameworks, and go-to-market materials based on client feedback and market needs.
  • Operate in environments with evolving priorities, ambiguous challenges, and multiple concurrent opportunities.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in consulting, client engagement, healthcare/life sciences analytics, commercial strategy, business development, professional services, or related fields.
  • Demonstrated experience helping clients solve complex business problems through data, analytics, AI, marketing, or technology-enabled solutions.
  • Experience participating in new business pitches, proposal development, solution design, and commercial presentations.
  • Experience with project scoping, estimation, budgeting, resource planning, and delivery planning.
  • Experience managing projects through delivery, understanding the operational realities behind successful client engagements.
  • Strong commercial judgment with the ability to balance client ambitions with realistic delivery.
  • High degree of organizational discipline with the ability to manage multiple active opportunities simultaneously without losing momentum.
  • Comfortable working with technical experts to understand analytical methodologies without necessarily being responsible for building them.

Benefits

  • Fully remote work environment
  • Company-paid medical and dental benefits
  • 401(k) retirement plan
  • Tuition reimbursement
  • Flexible time off

Pay

Compensation: $140,000—$180,000 USD
