Education

Bachelor's degree in business, computer science, engineering, information systems, or other quantitative discipline required. Related experience may offset degree requirements and related education/degree may offset experience requirements.

Experience

Six (6) years of experience in a minimum of four (4) of the following areas:

• Application architecture/design
• Application software development
• Application support
• Application maintenance
• BI technologies
• Business area expertise
• Communications planning/development/execution
• Data backup/protection strategies development/execution
• Data strategies/implementation
• Data warehousing techniques
• Database design/implementation
• Disaster recovery/business continuity planning
• ETL design/development
• Process evaluation/improvement
• Project monitoring/control
• Project planning/scheduling
• Prototype/wireframe development
• Requirements elicitation/management
• Server configuration/maintenance including hardware/system software/applications
• Short-burst training video design/development
• Software test plan development/execution
• System performance monitoring
• Technical documentation development
• Technical support-hardware/software/network issue resolution
• User interface/user experience design
• User documentation development
• User research

Knowledge, skills, and abilities

Exceptional leadership, interpersonal and communication skills, and planning and organizing abilities.

Exceptional collaboration skills when working with team members, business areas, systems users, and technical developers.

Preferred qualifications

Product Owner to collaborate with stakeholders to translate goals into a clear product vision. Define roadmaps, align sprint deliveries with business outcomes, and maintain and groom the product backlog. Additionally, author user stories with acceptance criteria, validate deliverables against Definition of Done (DoD) standards, manage RIDA matrices, and participate in core Agile ceremonies.

Pay

Pay transparency (FEC_E26):

• Pittsburgh, PA and Plano, TX: $6,854.33/month – $11,309.65/month
• Memphis, TN: $6,511.62/month – $10,744.16/month

Schedule and location

This hybrid position can be located in Pittsburgh, PA, Memphis, TN, or Plano, TX. Candidates must live within 50 miles of the campus location. Employees will be required to work at the FedEx campus location four days per week.
