A.B.I. Resources helps people recovering from brain injury, stroke, and TBI live and recover at home through community care and home-based supported living services.

Team Members support clients with:

• All aspects of home and community life.
• Ensuring consistent safety.
• Providing a healthy and professional friendship.
• Personal hygiene and dressing.
• Scheduling, attending, and reporting on medical and therapeutic appointments.
• Shopping, cooking, and cleaning with the client.
• Organizing consistent exercise, socialization, and entertainment.

Qualifications

• Drug screening.
• High school or equivalent (1 year preferred).
• Experience working with disabilities not required.
• Driver’s License required (reliable transportation and proof of insurance).
• At least 18 years of age.
• Present a letter from a person and/or employer verifying experience.

Weekday and weekend schedules are available.

Services include supported living, instructional care, employment, job coach, health aid, personal care, transitional living services, caregivers, ILST (Independent Living Skills Trainers), PCA (Personal Care Assistants), DSP (Disability Support Professionals), Companions, RA (Recovery Assistants), Behavioral Health, and CNA (Certified Nursing Assistants).

A.B.I. Resources is a Medicaid MFP and ABI Waiver Program Agency provider. We are registered under Homemaker Companion Agency Registration # HCA.0001017. Services include disability support services across Connecticut. We partner with organizations such as DSS (Connecticut Department of Social Services), DMHAS (Connecticut Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services), CCC (Connecticut Community Care), SWCAA (Southwestern Connecticut Area on Aging), WCAAA (Western Connecticut Area on Aging), ACR (Allied Community Resources), Access Health, and United Services.

The Liberty Change Project offers various life skills, such as SLG (Supportive Living Groups), PG (Peer Groups), EO (Equal Opportunity), and Medicaid MFP (Money Follows the Person) and ABI Waiver Program Agency, Provider. We provide disability support services across Connecticut, including Fairfield, Hartford, Litchfield, Middlesex, New Haven, New London, Tolland, and Windham counties.
