Energy Technician II
About the role
We are seeking an experienced Energy Technician II to join our dynamic team. This role involves installing energy efficiency measures to reduce consumer energy bills for various utility and weatherization programs within a defined territory.
Responsibilities
- Install energy savings measures including attic insulation (batts and blown), caulking, lightbulbs, showerheads, baseboards, thermostats and electric water heaters
- Perform minor repairs to include windows and doors
- Auxiliary tasks such as loading and unloading work trucks
- Aid in ensuring measures installed adhere to program guidelines
- Aid in maintaining the job site organization and safety
- Aid in setting up and tearing down customer sites
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in the residential construction industry is preferred, but training will be provided to the right candidate

Pay
Target Compensation: $22.00/hr
Schedule
This is a safety-sensitive position and may include field work (such as work in industrial/commercial locations and customer homes), warehouse work, or requires driving on behalf of the company. Individuals provided a conditional offer of employment for this position must successfully pass a post-offer, pre-employment drug test and consent to the company obtaining a motor vehicle report evidencing a satisfactory driving record. Applicants for driving positions must hold a valid driver's license, and individuals provided a conditional offer of employment must successfully pass a drug test and maintain a clean driving record as an ongoing requirement for continued employment.
