CHS is seeking an Energy Sales Intern in Mitchell, SD for Summer 2027. This internship provides a valuable opportunity to gain insight into our successful energy team, with a focus on the Certified Energy Specialist roles. You will work closely with our customers, ensuring they receive top-notch service and information. We are looking for individuals who are detail-oriented and possess strong communication skills.
The internship can start as early as Spring 2027, depending on business needs and your availability, and extend through the summer.
Responsibilities
- Shadow the Certified Energy Specialist (CES)
- Learn about increasing sales/profitability for the cooperative through implementation of sales, marketing, and consulting processes for CENEX products and cooperative services
- Train on how to build and maintain positive working relationships with customers/potential customers
- Learn about CHS energy programs including our Cenex Brand
- Attend sales
