About the role
This position assists with Power Management work projects through research, analysis, and writing assignments. It provides valuable work experience in a customer-owned power utility and offers opportunities to apply academic knowledge practically.
Responsibilities
- Assist with Power Management work projects through research, analysis, and writing assignments.
- Assist with various Energy Research & Development projects.
- Create online tracking and reporting tools.
- Pursue self-directed research.
- Conduct and summarize quantitative analysis.
- Work as part of a cross-functional and diverse team.
- Present analytic results in verbal and written communications.
Requirements
The intern position requires some experience working with science, technology, and research analysis. Depending on the assignment, some positions may require a valid Washington State Driver's License.
Qualifications
- Minimum Education: High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum Experience: 1 year of post-high school training
- Desired Experience: Some experience working with science, technology, and research analysis
Skills
Self-directed research, conducting and summarizing quantitative analysis, working as part of a cross-functional and diverse team, presenting analytic results in verbal and written communications.
