Energy Plant Operator

About the role

Under general supervision in centralized energy facilities, you will perform duties in the operation and maintenance of the University of South Carolina's energy plants.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain energy facilities and systems.
• Perform maintenance work across various trades.
• Read and interpret instruction manuals and technical drawings.
• Use initiative and be proactive in discharging duties.

Requirements

• Ability to operate and perform maintenance in energy facilities.
• General knowledge of various trades crafts.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to read and interpret instruction manuals and drawings.

Qualifications

• Preferred: 6 years' experience in industrial hydronics systems.
