  • Develop, administer, and enforce the site-specific Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) program.
  • Manage electrical-room access permits, access controls, and required room attendance.
  • Conduct pre-energization inspections and verify that systems, documentation, and safety controls are complete before energization.
  • Ensure compliance with established safe-work practices during energization, de-energization, testing, and isolation activities.
  • Review and verify commissioning plans, energization plans, quality reports, and supporting documentation.

  • Working knowledge of electrical equipment and systems across various voltages, including AC and DC systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to audit site practices against written procedures, safety standards, and project requirements.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Occupational Safety, or a related field preferred; equivalent relevant experience will also be considered.
  • Strong judgment and the confidence to independently stop work when unsafe conditions or practices are identified.
  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to explain complex technical concepts to engineers, field personnel, trade partners, and nontechnical stakeholders.
  • Ability to collaborate across project teams and drive procedural and process improvements.
