About the role
The Energy & Infrastructure Associate will lead and support energy and infrastructure M&A and/or project finance transactions. They will draft and negotiate project and finance documents including credit agreements, purchase agreements, and development contracts. The role involves advising on complex multi-jurisdictional transactions involving conventional and renewable energy assets, coordinating with cross-functional teams on regulatory, tax, and environmental issues.
Responsibilities
- Lead and support energy and infrastructure M&A and/or project finance transactions
- Draft and negotiate project and finance documents including credit agreements, purchase agreements, and development contracts
- Advise on complex multi-jurisdictional transactions involving conventional and renewable energy assets
- Cook up with cross-functional teams on regulatory, tax, and environmental issues
Requirements
- 3–6 years of experience with a focus on project finance and/or M&A
- Comfortable leading transactions and managing client relationships
- Strong analytical and drafting skills with excellent attention to detail
- JD from a top-tier law school and strong academic record
- Member of the Texas Bar (or eligible to waive in)
Qualifications
- Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Must be able to travel up to 20% of the time

Pay
Salary Range: $305,000 – $390,000 (DOE)
